Bike hire is available from the Information Centre every day of the year, except Christmas Day, between 10am to 4:30pm Electronic or eBikes are now also available for hire at the park.
The eBikes are ideal for families with toddlers or young children who use buggies or tag-a-longs. The power assistance makes it much easier for the adult rider to pedal and tow children using these accessories, especially when riding up hills. They also make a great introduction to cycling.
There are no bookings. Photo identification is required and the hirer must be over 18 years old. Bikes can be hired for 3 or 6 hours, and hire includes helmet and lock. A $200 credit card swipe is taken for security for eBikes only.
Bikes and accessories cannot be taken on the beach, out of the park or on the shuttle bus.
The child buggy and tag-along must be used in conjunction with Parks Victoria’s bikes only.
Visitors can also use their own bikes in the park and must bring their own helmets and locks.
