This park is a good accessible destination for a picnic or barbecue
There are two designated disabled parking spaces in the main carpark. Some caution is required for wheelchair users as the cross slope on the car park is 1 in 25.
The path to the picnic ground and playground is directly in front of the two parking bays. The surface is hard packed gravel with stones of approximately 13 mm.
The picnic area has 9 steel tables with an overhang at both ends suitable for a wheelchair users to roll under the table.
The barbecues are centrally located and have a working height of 900 millimetres.
The toilets are located to the the left of the Chalet at the top of the carpark. There is a unisex accessible cubicle.
The historic chalet is now used for functions and receptions. There is a small, 50 millimetre step off the outside entry courtyard. The main room of the chalet has a level floor. The mezzanine level is only accessible via stairs. There is an accessible toilet in the chalet.
