Volunteering in nature summer series

The volunteering in nature summer series is back

From beekeeping to bird monitoring, the Volunteering in Nature Summer Series is back with a week-long program of free workshops and events from 28 November - 5 December 2022.

Through a program of 15 special events, Victorians can try volunteering with Parks Victoria and develop new skills to give back to the environment. Activities will be held in parks all throughout the state as well as online, closing on International Volunteering Day on 5 December.

During this week, we’ll celebrate the mammoth conservation efforts of volunteers and hear from people making a difference to the natural world. Together, we’ll bust the myth that volunteering is for people with a wheelbarrow full of free time and explore how technology like artificial intelligence is paving the way for flexible volunteering.

Act fast, space is limited and events are filling quickly.
