Plenty Gorge - Nioka Bush Camp
You can book the campground only, the campground with camp kitchen and hall, bunkhouse only or bunkhouse and campground. The bunkhouse comes with the camp kitchen.
Facilities include toilets, hot showers, hall, kitchen, bunked accommodation as well as a camping area for tents. It's a short walk to Hawkstowe Picnic Area with the historic Le Page Homestead as well as Morang Wetlands.
There is limited firewood available for the indoor wood heater. Firewood is not provided for the outdoor fireplace.
Bring your own bedding, crockery and cooking utensils.

Nioka Bush Camp is a fantastic group camping spot, which will make you feel far away from civilisation - even though you are just 20km north of Melbourne. Roofed accommodation, camp kitchen and hall are all available to book. Enjoy the beautiful Plenty River and awesome Plenty Gorge.

Plenty Gorge Park upgrades
A project is underway to create the new Plenty River Trail, upgrade the Hawkstowe Picnic Area and make improvements to Nioka Bush Camp, to offer visitors new and accessible experiences to walk, ride, play and stay in Plenty Gorge Park. Find out more about the Plenty Gorge Park upgrades project.

Notices Affecting Multiple Parks
Plenty Gorge Parklands Deer Control
Parks Victoria are continuing deer control in the Plenty Gorge Parklands. This program will be taking place between the hours of 5pm and 6am on a number of nights between May 8th 2024 and August 22nd 2024. These control works are being undertaken by accredited and authorised contractors.For reasons of public safety, various areas of the park will be inaccessible during the evening throughout this period.Signage will be in place at access points when control activities are occurring. Plenty Gorge Parklands
Temporary closure of Yarrambat area of Plenty Gorge Park due to planned burning.
The Yarrambat - Latrobe Road planned burn operation is occurring in this park which will result in the area 1.6km west of Yarrambat being closed, from the time of ignition on 2/5/2024 until the area is declared safe. Check the status of current planned burns at https://plannedburns.ffm.vic.gov.au -

The auto gates at Yan Yean Reservoir Park will continue to close at 18:00 while Melbourne Water works are taking place.
