Camping

Dispersed bush camping is permitted on some islands within Nooramunga Marine and Coastal Park. For groups with less than 12 people, camping is permitted as long as the campsite is not used for more than two consecutive nights.

Basic bush camping facilities only are provided so campers need to be self-sufficient, including taking enough drinking water with them. The water on the island is not suitable for drinking. There is no rubbish collection from any of the camping areas so please take all your rubbish with you.

Campfires are permitted in accordance with fire protection regulations. However, fuel stoves are preferred for cooking.

Dogs, cats and firearms are not permitted.
